Jo Jo
History: JoJo was picked up in Combs, AR by Don Jackson. JoJo is the only carnivore at Turpentine Creek who came to us that was born in the wild. Her owner’s dog brought home a small puppy one day. They spent three weeks trying to figure out "what kind of dog doesn’t have a tail". Realizing she was a bear, they proceeded to raise JoJo indoors until she began to climb all over the cabinets and get into everything. They then put her outside to turn her loose, but she would not leave. By the time she was 10 months old, she had began to tear the screens off the house trying to get back in. The owners decided they really did not want a bear hanging around and called Turpentine Creek.

you know What can we say?! We just can't seem to say no to the cats and animals that need a home. It is better than the alternative. We really need some natural habitats built to relieve the pressure within the compound. See what you can do to help. Anything and everything helps! Please do what you can now ... the animals will appreciate it more than !
